Biography:
Bardock is a Saiyan warrior from the Dragon Ball Z franchise. He is best known as the father of Goku, the series' main protagonist.
Bardock first appeared in the 1990 TV special, Dragon Ball Z: Bardock – The Father of Goku. In this special, he is portrayed as a low-class Saiyan soldier who gains the ability to see the future after being attacked by a dying alien.
His visions reveal Frieza's plan to destroy Planet Vegeta. Bardock attempts to warn the other Saiyans, but they dismiss his claims. He then makes a desperate, solo attempt to confront Frieza, but is ultimately killed along with his planet.
